# Plans and access

> Free, Skye Plus, Telegram Stars, and how groups work.

Skye works in direct chats on the free plan. Skye Plus adds room for longer work and lets you build your own agents. Paid access uses **Telegram Stars**, Telegram's built-in payment method.

## Free

Everyday use, at no cost:

* a basic daily message allowance that resets each day;
* text, voice, images, documents, web search, and YouTube;
* skills, connectors, and projects;
* memory and automations.

When the daily allowance runs out, you can continue the next day. A monthly cap also applies.

## Skye Plus

* **449 Telegram Stars each month**, renewed every 30 days.
* An expanded daily and monthly message allowance, for longer and more frequent work.
* Create and edit your own custom agents.
* Cancel any time. You keep access to the end of the period you paid for.

Open `/account` in a private chat to see your plan and upgrade. Payment happens inside Telegram.

## New users

New accounts can receive a short Skye Plus preview, so you can try the paid features before deciding. The Account panel shows it while it is active.

## Managing your plan

| Command | What it does |
| - | - |
| `/account` | Your plan, upgrade, and cancel renewal. |
| `/paysupport` | Help with a Stars purchase. Opens a private chat with Skye. |
| `/terms` | The plan terms. |

Renewal is automatic on Skye Plus. Cancel it in `/account`: you keep access until the period ends and are not charged again. Refunds follow Telegram's Stars rules.

## Groups

A group is a shared space, so access works differently:

* A group works when it is on the instance's allowlist, or when one of its admins has Skye Plus or complimentary access.
* Group usage is billed to that paying admin, not to each speaker.
* Group settings, skills, and memory are shared; each forum topic has its own conversation.

If a group is not enabled, Skye stays silent there.

## Complimentary access

The instance owner can allow specific people or groups without payment. If you have complimentary access, `/account` will say so.
