You do not need special phrases. Describe what you want and Skye chooses the right approach. Here is what she can do today.

Conversation with the thread

Skye keeps the current conversation in mind, so follow-ups like “that one” or “make it shorter” just work. The thread is stored locally so she can continue across restarts.
  • A new subject is a good moment for /reset. It starts a clean conversation and keeps what she remembers about you.
  • /catchup gives you a short summary of the thread so far.

Voice

Send a voice note and it is transcribed. Ask for an answer as a voice message and she speaks it, choosing a fitting tone and pace. Video notes are transcribed too; the video itself is not watched.

Images

  • Understand. Send a photo or screenshot to describe it, read the text in it, or check a detail.
  • Create. Ask for a picture. “A calm, minimal poster for a reading list.”
  • Edit. Reply to a photo with an instruction and she changes that photo.
Ask for several images when you want variants. Finished pictures arrive automatically as photos. Illustrative, not a real transcript.

Documents and files

Send a file and Skye can work with it:
  • PDF documents, read directly.
  • Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files.
  • Plain text, Markdown, CSV, JSON, code, and config files.
  • Photos of documents, read as images.
Typical asks: “summarise this”, “pull every date and amount”, “compare these two versions”, “find the risks”. Unusual formats are handled in her workspace, below.

Search and the web

Skye searches the web and reads pages you link, then answers with sources. She reads YouTube transcripts too, so you can ask what a video says with only a link.

Files, code, and a private workspace

When a task needs real files or code, Skye uses an isolated workspace where she can:
  • run shell commands and Python;
  • read and write files;
  • keep the workspace between messages, so a project from yesterday is still there;
  • hand finished files back to you automatically.
Each person has their own workspace. In a group, the group shares one.
The workspace runs in a separate container with no access to the host. Whether it can reach the internet depends on how the instance is set up.

Memory

Skye can remember small facts you want kept: a preference, a name, a recurring instruction.
  • Say “remember that …” or ask her to save something.
  • Say “forget …” to remove it.
  • Private memories stay private; group memories are shared with the group.
  • Turn memory off, or delete everything saved, in Settings.

Projects

Keep separate conversations for separate work. Each project has its own history and optional instructions. Read Projects.

Groups and topics

Skye works in groups and forum topics. Each topic has its own conversation; the group shares its settings and memory. Read Write to her.

Where she stops

  • She does not watch video, only its transcript or a short placeholder.
  • She does not run code on the host; code runs only in the isolated workspace.
  • She can be wrong. Check important facts.
